Legendary Pokémon Kyogre and Groudon return to Raid Battles alongside Rayquaza for a limited time, in celebration of the Legendary Week.
Niantic and The Pokémon Company have announced that Pokémon GO Legendary Week will begin today and run through March 5, bringing Groudon and Kyogre back to Raid Battles alongside Rayquaza in Raid Battles around the world.
Pokémon GO Legendary Week also includes a global challenge where if Trainers defeat Rayquaza more than both Kyogre and Groudon.
If Rayquaza is defeated more than Kyogre and Groudon combined, Pokémon that typically prefer windy weather (for example, Bagon) are more likely to hatch from Eggs from March 5 to March 16. If not, Pokémon that prefer sunny or rainy weather (like Trapinch or Lotad) are more likely to hatch.
- Windy 10K: Dratini, Ralts, Chimecho, Bagon, Beldum, Aerodactyl, Skarmory
- Sunny / Rainy 10K: Trapinch, Lapras, Mareep, Feebas, Larvitar
New special boxes are debuting on February 24, containing Raid Passes to help you prepare. We’ll cover the boxes in a separate post once they launch.
